Numerous Voices, a Baskin College of Engineering skilled speaker collection spotlighting business leaders and Baskin Engineering alumni, returns in April 2021 for its third season. The Numerous Voices collection goals to advertise variety in engineering and tech and encourage extra people from underrepresented backgrounds to pursue STEM training and careers.
This 12 months, as a result of COVID-19 rules, the collection will happen over Zoom on the next dates: April 6, April 21, Might 11, and Might 26. Numerous Voices 2021 will highlight 4 business leaders, two of whom are Baskin Engineering graduates.

- Tuesday, Might 11: Jossie Haines, UCSC Pc Science M.S. graduate and Senior Director of Platform & Internet Engineering and Head of Range, Fairness, and Inclusion at Tile, “Retaining Girls in Tech: The Expertise Wanted by Girls to Assist Face the Challenges of Staying and Thriving within the Tech Trade”
- Wednesday, Might 26: Sheldon Logan, UCSC Pc Engineering Ph.D. graduate and Senior Software program Engineer at Google, “My Journey from Jamaica to Google: From Majority to Minority”
