This stirred the inventive response of younger communication practitioner on the Jamaica Info Service (JIS), Twila Wheelan, who received a Press Affiliation of Jamaica (PAJ) Award for her efforts in elevating consciousness on the difficulty.
Miss Wheelan, engaged on the nationwide ‘No Excuse for Abuse’ Public Training Marketing campaign, wrote and produce a six-part radio collection, titled ‘Not Secure for Ladies’.
