The Non-public Sector Organisation has expressed unhappiness on the passing of its Interim COE Greta Bogues.
Bogues died on Sunday, February 21, 2021.
PSOJ President Keith Duncan in expressing his deep sorrow said that “The PSOJ, and I personally, are experiencing an unimaginable loss that’s tough to course of. Greta was dedicated to and evoked excellence in these with whom she labored. She was a stalwart within the personal sector and a servant to Jamaica who could possibly be relied on to offer her all in any effort with which she was tasked.”
Bogues’ skilled expertise spanned the monetary business, non-profit, training, and the distribution and manufacturing sector. She served as the primary feminine Chief Government Officer (CEO) of the mixed Non-public Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ), the Jamaica Exporters Affiliation (JEA) and the Jamaica Bankers Affiliation (JBA) in 2001.
She returned to the PSOJ at a vital juncture in 2020, to function CEO (Interim) spearheading various initiatives as a part of the organisation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A doyenne of Company Governance (CG), she was a licensed CG coach who labored tirelessly to reinforce the notice of fine company governance practices, serving to to strengthen each private and non-private sector entities. As founding Chair of the PSOJ’s Company Governance Committee, she cast a legacy within the subject, imbuing others along with her ardour by way of coaching and the wilful sharing of her information and experience.
